Education

I graduated from Louisiana State University in 2017 with a Bachelor's in Nutrition and a minor in Psychology. I took a gap year before grad school to get research experience by volunteering in two research labs at LSU, Dr. Melissa Beck's lab and Dr. Megan Papesh's lab. I started my PhD program at Vanderbilt University, working under Dr. Daniel Levin, in August 2018. Now, I am a third year and just recently defended my thesis! I am also in the process of switching to Dr. Sarah Brown-Schmidt's lab for the remainder of my time at Vanderbilt.

Research interests (broadly) include: visual attention, learning, misinformation, face perception and recognition, and memory.

Personal

My personal life is just as important to me as my academic life. In my free time (not during a pandemic), I love to attend dance classes at local studios, ride my bike, rock climb, paint, hike, spend time with friends, read for pleasure, and most importantly... play Killer Sudoku.
